UNCLAIMED PROPERTY NOTICE

The City of Laredo, Texas is holding property that has been unclaimed. The property are funds not exceeding $100.00 (one hundred dollars) and whose owner(s) are listed in the following notice. The funds may be an overpayment or credit for a water utility payment, loss, or check issued by the city but not cashed in the amount of less than $100.00.

Any person possessing a legal or beneficial interest in the reported property may obtain information concerning the amount of the property by contacting the Financial Service Department at (956)791-7425 or by writing to the following:

Persons possessing a legal or beneficial interest in the reported property must present proof of the claim to establish a right to receive the Unclaimed Property. Please be prepared to provide the following information when you call our office:

Name, exactly as listed

Current and previous addresses for the last 5 years.

Account number, if applicable

Social Security number of the owner.

For a thorough search of our records, please provide the following information

Owner’s name exactly as spelled as listed.

All previous address for the last five years or longer, including post office boxes.

Current address so we can mail a response (please allow 2-3 weeks)
