Public Service Announcement Campaign: “Let’s Talk Trash!”

Trash Tip of the Week:

Did you know that:

· Recycling just one aluminum can saves enough energy to run a TV for 3 hours!

· Manufacturing cans from recycled aluminum produces 96% less air and water pollution than manufacturing cans from raw material (bauxite).

Recycling has an immediate, positive effect on Laredo’s environment. Use your recycle blue bags for all those soda cans – don’t forget to rinse them out first! Trash collection for all recyclable material is Thursdays and Fridays.
