Public Service Announcement Campaign: “Let’s Talk Trash!”
For week of April 12, 2004 – April 16, 2004
Trash Tip of the Week:
With spring just around the corner, apply the four Rs (Reduce, Reuse,
Recycle, Rebuy) to:
Saving energy at home
*Turn off those lights and your television when not
in use.
*Turn your thermostat up during the hours of the day when you are out.
*Replace incandescent light bulbs with energy efficient fluorescent bulbs.
*Don’t
let energy go out the door (or window). Make sure your rooms are well
insulated.
La primavera esta aquí, aplique las cuatro R (Reducir, Reutilizar,
Reciclar, Recomprar) a:
La conservación de energía en casa.
*Apague las luces y la television cuando no los
necesite prendidos.
*Fije el termostato más alto durante las horas del
día cuando no esté en la casa.
*Reemplace los focus de luz incandescente con
focus flourescentes que ahorren energía.
*No deje que se le escapte la energía por la
puerta (ni por la ventana). Asegúrese de que los cuartos estén bien
aislados.
