Public Service Announcement Campaign:  “Let’s Talk Trash!”
For week of April 26, 2004 – April 30, 2004

Trash Tip of the Week:
With spring here, apply the four Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rebuy) to: Bathing
ÿ Take shorter showers.
ÿ Install low-flow showerheads.
ÿ Turn off the faucet when brushing your teeth.
ÿ Make your shower do double-duty.  Hang clothes in the bathroom while showering to “steam” wrinkles out.
ÿ Install a toilet dam to reduce the amount of water you flush away.

La primavera esta aquí,  aplique las cuatro R (Reducir, Reutilizar, Reciclar, Recomprar) a:  El baño.
ÿ Dése baños cortos.
ÿ Instale regaderas con un caudal de agua reducido.
ÿ Cierre la llave cuando se cepille los dientes.
ÿ Haga que el baño trabaje doble.  Cuelgue la ropa en el cuarto de baño mientras se baña para que el vapor le quite las arrugas.
ÿ Instale un mecanismo divisorio en el tanque del excusado para reducir la cantidad de agua que utiliza.
