Public Service Announcement Campaign: “Let’s Talk Trash!”

For week of May 17, 2004 – May 21, 2004

Trash Tip of the Week:

Branches and grass clippings are picked up on Mondays and Tuesdays only, depending on your specified trash pick-up day, UNLESS the automated truck collects your garbage. If the automated truck (big blue truck) picks up your garbage, your clippings will be picked up on Wednesdays.

Tree limbs should be cut into lengths not exceeding six (6) feet long and must be tied in manageable bundles weighing no more than approximately 35 pounds. No more than five bags with grass clippings, in addition to your regular trash bags, will be picked up. Do not put grass clippings inside the blue recycling bags because they will not be picked up.
