Trash Tip of the Week:
Ever wonder why your trash wasn’t picked up?  

It may be because you have inadvertently violated one of the rules set by the City of Laredo Solid Waste Department for garbage collection.  If so, a blue (for automated truck collection) or yellow (for semi-automated trash collection) notice will have been left at your door, indicating which rule was broken.  

In English and Spanish, the notices are also stamped with a red routing number.  Call the Solid Waste Customer Service number (796-1098) listed on the notice, give operators the routing number and representatives can look up your file, explain the violation and help give you tips on how to avoid the problem in the future.
