Public Service Announcement Campaign:  “Let’s Talk Trash!”
For week of August 9, 2004

Trash Tip of the Week:
Dead animals are picked up by the Solid Waste Department on City of Laredo right-of way only. Dead animals on private property
are the responsibility of the owner.  Sanitation workers cannot go on private property.  Small animals (domesticated pets) can be
bagged and disposed of in your regular garbage.

Large dead animals, (livestock) such as cows, horses, and mules, shall be removed and disposed of at the expense of the owner or
person having control of the animal.
