The Water Utility Billing Customer Service office is located on the first floor at City Hall, 1110 Houston St.  Our office hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., except on city approved holidays.

 

 

MISSION

To provide prompt customer service, perform accurate meter reading and billing, and make timely collections from utility customers to generate revenue needed to maintain and improve our water and wastewater system.

 

 

DUTIES

The Water Utility Billing division is responsible for water meter reading, service connections and disconnections, reviewing high bill complaints, performing re-reads for accounts with inconsistencies in consumption, and the collecting of all water, wastewater, garbage, NPDES, and storm water fees for the City of Laredo.

To report an interruption of your water service, a water meter leak, water main break, fire hydrant leak, clogged or overflowing wastewater main, cave-in, or an emergency water turn-off, please call our Emergency Call Center at (956) 721-2010.
