Debit and/or credit card payments with the Visa or MasterCard logo can be made 24 hours a day using our Voice Utility System by calling (956) 791-7402. A 3% surcharge of the total payment will be assessed and included with the credit/debit card payment. Please have your account number available when placing this call. |

Payments may also be left in our Night Deposit Box located at the North entrance of City Hall, 1110 Houston St. Payments should be in the form of a check or money order made payable to City of Laredo Utilities. Please include the account number(s) or a copy of your stub(s) with payment. Payments left in our Night Deposit Box will be processed on the next business day. |

Current charges may be paid at any of our Authorized Pay Stations located throughout the city. You will need your bill to make a payment at any Pay Station. Please call us at (956) 791-7402 for a list of authorized pay stations or click on the link above. Payments made at a Pay Station will post to the account on the next business day. |

You may pay your bill in person with the tellers at our Tax Department located on the first floor at City Hall, 1110 Houston St. The tellers are available during the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday, except City approved holidays. |

Payments may be sent by mail in the form of a check or money order made payable to City of Laredo Utilities, P.O. Box 6548, Laredo, TX, 78042. Please include your account number(s) on all checks and correspondence. Please allow 7 business days from delivery to post office for mail in payments to be processed and posted to your account. This includes online bill payments since they are usually submitted in the form of a check through the mail. |

The City of Laredo Utilities Department also offers automatic bank draft, an electronic funds transfer payment service which allows the automatic debit of your monthly utility bill from your bank account. This service is offered free of charge. The debit occurs on the due date of your bill each month. You will still receive a monthly bill for your review. To request this service, you will need to fill out and sign our Electronic Debit Authorization Form and provide us with a VOIDED check or savings account deposit slip. This request can be mailed to City of Laredo Utilities, 5816 Daugherty, Laredo, TX, 78041 or P.O. Box 2950, Laredo, TX, 78044. Please allow at least one billing cycle for your account to be updated. Please continue paying your bills as usual until you're notified on your bill that Electronic Debit has taken effect. Please be advised that a non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee in the amount of $25 will be assessed to the account if an electronic funds transfer is not honored by the financial institution. Automatic bank draft can be cancelled at anytime using our Electronic Debit Authorization Removal Form. This form can be mailed to the address above or faxed to (956) 791-7395. A valid picture ID or driver’s license is required. |

Online payments can also be made (except between 3:00 a.m. and 3:45 a.m.) using a debit and/or credit card with the Visa or MasterCard logo at www.cityoflaredo.com under Online Services. The City of Laredo Click2gov service allows access to up-to-date and secure account information. A 3% surcharge of the total payment will be assessed and included with the debit/credit card payment. All payments will be posted the following business day. |
