Ordinance amending the City of Laredo Fiscal Year 2002 Recreation Fund annual budget by appropriating revenues and expenditures in the amount of $5,800 for the administration of recreation programs and authorizing the City Manager to implement said budget amendment.

  BACKGROUND:

  

  Parks and Recreation Department, in prior fiscal years, had offered limited recreational programming activities, thus revenues and expenditures were budgeted low in the Recreation Fund. This fiscal year (2002), Parks and Recreation administrated and coordinated more recreational programming activities resulting in excess revenue and expenditure funds.

ORDINANCE NO. 2002-O-183

 

AMENDING THE CITY OF LAREDO FISCAL YEAR 2002 RECREATION FUND ANNUAL BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,800.00 FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF RECREATION PROGRAMS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO IMPLEMENT SAID BUDGET AMENDMENT.

 

 

WHEREAS, on September 17, 2001, City Council adopted the fiscal year 2002 annual budget: and

 

WHEREAS, on August 05, 2002, City Council held a public hearing to adopt this ordinance;

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAREDO THAT:
