2002-O-312 Altering and extending the boundary limits of
the City of Laredo, annexing additional territory of 214.90 acres beginning at
the existing city limits, located out of Porcion 32 and 33, as further
described by metes and bounds in Attachment "A", specifically, the
E.G. Ranch Tract, providing for the effective date of this ordinance,
authorizing the City Manager to execute a contract adopting a service plan for
the annexed territory, and establishing the initial zoning of M-1 (Light
Manufacturing District) for 8.31 acres, B-3 (Community Business District) for
8.31 acres, R-2 (Multi-family Residential District) for 143.71 acres, and B-1
(Limited Commercial District) for 54.57 acres, as further described in
Attachment "C".
2002-O-313 Altering and extending the boundary limits of
the City of Laredo, annexing additional territory of 83.0116 acres beginning at
the existing city limits, located out of Porcion 32, as further described by
metes and bounds in Attachment "A", specifically, the Las Misiones
Tract, providing for the effective date of this ordinance, authorizing the City
Manager to execute a contract adopting a service plan for the annexed
territory, and establishing the initial zoning of R-1A (Single-family Reduced
Area District).
2002-O-314 Altering and extending the boundary limits of
the City of Laredo, annexing additional territory of 120.13 acres beginning at
the existing city limits, located out of Porcion 7 and 8, as further described
by metes and bounds in Attachment "A", specifically, the Piņa Tract,
providing for the effective date of this ordinance, authorizing the City
Manager to execute a contract adopting a service plan for the annexed
territory, and establishing the initial zoning of M-1 (Light Manufacturing
District).
2002-O-315 Altering and extending the boundary limits of
the City of Laredo, annexing additional territory of 5.00 acres beginning at
the existing city limits, located out of Porcion 31, as further described by
metes and bounds in Attachment "A", specifically, the Treviņo Tract,
providing for the effective date of this ordinance, authorizing the City
Manager to execute a contract adopting a service plan for the annexed
territory, and establishing the initial zoning of B-4 (Highway Commercial
District).
2002-O-316 Altering and extending the boundary limits of
the City of Laredo, annexing additional territory of 607.02 acres beginning at
the existing city limits, located out of Porcion 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and
Surveys 743 and 2113, as further described by metes and bounds in Attachment
"A", specifically, the IH 35 Tract, providing for the effective date
of this ordinance, adopting a service plan for the annexed territory, and
establishing the initial zoning of B-4 (Highway Commercial District).
2002-O-317 Amending Chapter 19, Motor Vehicle and
Traffic, Article VIII, Stopping, Standing or Parking, of the Code of
Ordinances, City of Laredo:
specifically adding Section 19-364(4) which establishes the Southside of
Shiloh Drive, between Shalom Circle and Fox Lane, as a No Parking /Tow Away
Zone between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, providing
for effective date and publication.

Urging and requesting the assistance
of the United States Government with the cooperation of the City of Laredo,
Texas in reducing the amount of time necessary for pedestrian traffic to cross
the Gateway to the Americas International Bridge between the United States and
Mexico, while still ensuring the security and safety of the citizens of this
country.
V. EXECUTIVE SESSION
The City Council hereby reserves
the right to go into executive session at any time during this public meeting,
if such is requested by the City Attorney or other legal counsel for the City,
pursuant to his or her duty under Section 551.071(2) of the Government Code, to
consult privately with his or her client on an item on the agenda, or on a
matter arising out of such item.
VI. ADJOURNMENT
This notice was posted at the
Municipal Government Offices, 1110 Houston Street, Laredo, Texas, at a place
convenient and readily accessible to the public at all times. Said notice was
posted on Friday, December 6, 2002 at 12:00 noon.
