meeting to order.

IV. Resolutions

1. 2000-R-100 Canvassing the returns of the special runoff

election held on June 3, 2000 for District VIII; and approving

the results.

Mayor Flores publicly read the election results.

District VIII

Canuta "Tita" Cantanilla 324 41.37%

Juan Ramirez 459 58.62%

She announced the winner to be Juan Ramirez.
