With a quorum present Mayor Elizabeth G. Flores called the

meeting to order.

II. Pledge of Allegiance

Mayor Elizabeth G. Flores led in the Pledge of Allegiance.

III. Roll Call

IV. Executive Session

Request for Executive Session pursuant to Texas Government Code

Section 551.074 to interview and deliberate the possible

employment of Larry Dovalina as City Manager and return to Open

Session for possible action.

Motion to go into Executive Session pursuant to Texas Government

Code Section 551.074 to interview and deliberate and possible

employment of Larry Dovalina as City Manager and return to Open

Session for possible action.

Moved : Cm. Galo

Second: Cm. Agredano

For: 7 Against: 0 Abstain: 0

Cm. E. Valdez, Jr. was not present.

After executive session Mayor Flores announced that no formal

action was taken.

Motion to offer the position of City Manager to Mr. Larry

Dovalina and if he accepts, to authorize the Mayor to execute an

employment agreement with Mr. Dovalina effective immediately.

Moved : Cm. Bruni

Second: Cm. J. Valdez, Jr.

For: 8 Against: 0 Abstain: 0

Mr. Dovalina accepted the position. The Mayor executed the

Agreement in duplicate.
