As one of the fastest growing cities in the United States and a major trade corridor to the Americas, Laredo continues to capture the imagination and the spirit of visitors and residents alike with its rich and colorful history. With its vivid cultural hues, its brilliant history and vivacious people, Laredo is nestled amidst four bustling international bridges blending two great sister cities and uniting two nations. Laredo weaves a radiant tapestry that blends a rich and colorful history with the excitement of a vibrant and prosperous border community. The Color of Cultures represents Laredo at its brightest and at its boldest. It symbolizes a city spanning nearly two-and-a-half centuries of rich heritage, thriving along the storied banks of the Rio Grande.
