LAREDO, Texas – The City of Laredo is now accepting applications from eligible nonprofit organizations seeking funding through the City’s Third-Party Funding Program for Fiscal Year 2026–2027. The program supports nonprofit initiatives that address social needs, strengthen community development, enhance quality of life, and promote tourism.

Funding is available through General Fund Revenue and Hotel-Motel Tax Revenue. Applications will be reviewed by the Civic Partnership and Engagement Advisory Committee, with final funding recommendations submitted to the Laredo City Council. Approved funds will be distributed on a reimbursement basis. 

Eligible applicants must be recognized nonprofit organizations and meet program criteria. Organizations seeking General Fund support must demonstrate efforts related to education, economic development, health, or community welfare, while Hotel-Motel funding must directly support tourism, conventions, and the hospitality industry. 

Applications are available through the City of Laredo Finance Department – Purchasing Division or online via the City’s E-Bid portal. A mandatory informational training session for interested applicants will be held on February 20, 2026, with separate sessions for General Fund and Hotel-Motel applicants. The deadline to submit completed applications is 4:00 p.m. on March 13, 2026. Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
