Laredo, Texas – The City of Laredo Traffic Safety Division has completed the installation of two new traffic signals at the intersections of Simon Bolivar and International and Simon Bolivar and Bucky Houdmann.

On Friday, March 27, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., both traffic signals will be placed on flashing mode to alert motorists of the upcoming activation. The signals will become fully operational on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.

During the flashing phase, motorists are advised to treat the intersections with caution and follow all traffic control signs. Motorists are urged to drive carefully and remain alert as they approach these intersections.
