Experience
Joseph (Joe) Wayne Neeb has served as the Laredo City Manager since February 21, 2023. Under his direction, the city intends to remain fiscally sound, provide quality services to its citizens and be responsive to its people through increased communication efforts. His progressive senior management experience spans over 25 years and includes serving as the City Manager in Roswell, New Mexico, the City Administrator in Spearfish, South Dakota and as Town Manager in three Indiana municipalities over this timeframe.
He serves as a leadership mentor within the field of city governance and has spoken on the importance of a good synergy between city governance, a strong business community and safe, healthy neighborhoods at various annual conferences.
Joe is adamant that the city organization, as a whole and in each part, should selflessly serve its community. His professional goals are to communicate effectively, to serve with commitment and have faith that we are always stronger together than alone.
