Home MenuImmunization Program
The City of Laredo Public Health Department has secured vital vaccines for our community through state programs like the Texas Vaccine for Children (TVFC) and the Adult Safety Net (ASN). The TVFC program empowers children aged 0 to 18 who are uninsured, underinsured, or enrolled in CHIP or Medicaid by providing them with essential immunization services. The ASN program stands as a beacon of hope for adults aged 19 and older who lack health insurance, offering them access to critical vaccines. Moreover, the City of Laredo has made provisions for those who are insured but do not qualify for state programs by establishing a limited supply of privately purchased vaccines. Together, we are committed to ensuring that our community has access to the vaccines necessary for disease prevention and a healthier future for all.
The Texas Vaccine for Children (TVFC) Program offers immunization services to those children (0-18 years of age) who are uninsured, underinsured (insurance that does not cover immunizations), have CHIP, or Medicaid. The Adult Safety Net (ASN) Program provides vaccines to adults (19 years and older) who do not have health insurance.
